Second Saturday
One night a month, the whole Church comes together. A welcoming, joy-filled worship night where anyone — believer or not — can encounter the love of Jesus and find a place to belong.
What is Second Saturday
A worship night that belongs to the whole Church
Second Saturday exists to create a welcoming, joy-filled worship experience where anyone can encounter the love of Jesus and find a place to belong in a local church.
Rooted in the Great Commission, we go where people are, lower every barrier, and make it easy to take a next step toward faith and community. It's one night a month — but the goal is a lifetime of faith and friendship.
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations…” — Matthew 28:19–20

No prior faith experience required. No pressure. Just a warm room, real worship, and people glad you came.
Live Worship
A full band leads an evening of heartfelt, unhurried worship — the same group of believers from churches across our area, serving together.
Fellowship
Doors open early and we linger afterward. Come for the connection — there's always conversation and a friendly face.

Every night is a bridge to a church home. Wherever you are on your journey, we'll help you take the next step toward faith and a community that lasts.
Our Core Values
What we hold to
Accessible
Anyone can invite anyone. No prior faith experience required.
Unifying
Local churches serving together, not in competition.
Rooted
Bible-centered, Church-supported, and Christ-exalting in everything we do.
Connective
Every event is a bridge from a worship night to a church home.
Churches standing shoulder to shoulder
We envision a Central Pennsylvania where the churches of the 570 stand shoulder to shoulder — unified in the spirit of Jesus' prayer in John 17 — reaching the lost together, welcoming the searching, and connecting every person to a community where they can grow, belong, and thrive.
What We Believe
Gathered around the historic essentials
We gather around the great truths the Church has confessed together across centuries, denominations, and traditions — the shared foundation on which all true Christian fellowship is built.
The Apostles' Creed
- The Bible is the inspired, inerrant, authoritative Word of God and the final rule for faith and life.
- Salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.
- Every believer is called to life in community with the local church.
- Jesus is Lord over all: past, present, and future.
A note on our unity
We recognize that faithful, Bible-believing churches hold a range of convictions on secondary matters — modes of baptism, worship style, church governance, spiritual gifts, and more. Second Saturday is not the place to adjudicate those differences; we celebrate them as evidence of a rich and diverse body of Christ. When questions arise, we point people back to Scripture and their home church. Our unity rests not on uniformity, but on the person and work of Jesus Christ, in whom all things hold together (Colossians 1:17).
Get Involved
Come, invite a friend, or host a night
